The Design Process

Initial Consultation
We'll walk your land, discuss your vision and explore if I am the right fit for the job. After my initial visit, I'll send a customized summary of our meeting and an estimate for design fees.
Site Measurements
Upon my second visit to your site, I will take accurate measurements and combine them GIS maps to create a to-scale base map of your garden.

Pre Design
I will share personalized mood boards that highlight different plant combinations, hardscaping ideas and garden features to help narrow down an aesthetic for the design.

Concept Design
I will create at least two rough digital concept designs, that will include bed shapes, potential hardscape and other garden features. We will move forward with the concept you prefer.

Preliminary Design
Once a concept is chosen, this design displays a more detailed rough draft of the final plan. It includes one revision and once this plan has been approved, the final version will be made.

Final Detailed Design
Includes a handout with enhanced details of plants, hardscape, and key design features. Also includes a detailed planting plan to be used for the procurement of materials for installation purposes.

Maintenance Plan
A maintenance plan is highly encouraged for new garden installations. It is the best way to ensure that your new plants will flourish throughout every season.
