About This Class:

This class introduces the principles of naturescaping and how to create a garden that function like living ecosystems. We will explore how to create landscapes that provide food, shelter, and water for beneficial wildlife while remaining beautiful, intentional, and low-maintenance. You’ll learn how to work with your site’s natural conditions, choose the right plants for the right place, and design with all-season interest (for people and wildlife) in mind. You will learn about common mistakes and sustainable design tips from planning, to establishment and proper maintenance This class connects ecological understanding with practical, everyday gardening. Participants will leave with clear, actionable steps for creating a naturescape that supports biodiversity and feels both vibrant and alive.
